Initially our instructions on this project were to design a new pool house within the Permitted Development restrictions due to the extensive planning history (including Planning Appeals) for the site. Ultimately we applied for and obtained planning permission for the client without needing to make any changes to the design.

In addition to the restriction of working around an existing outdoor swimming pool, we were required to accommodate a gym, changing facilities and the associated ancillary spaces.

Using a combination of facing brick work and coloured renders to compliment the host dwelling we also introduced zinc roof finishes and cedar boarding to create this stunning building.

The CGIs bring really this building to life and we look forward to seeing it finished.
